As an ordained wedding officiant and Licensed Marriage and Family Therapist, Amber Roberts brings a rare kind of listening to officiating. Her background in couples therapy gives her a unique perspective on what makes relationships work — and what makes a ceremony feel true.
She approaches officiating the same way she approaches therapy: with presence, curiosity, and genuine care for the people in front of her. She listens to your story, learns what matters to you, and crafts a ceremony that reflects who you actually are together.

During Pride Month, a portion of every ceremony fee is donated to an LGBTQIA+ organization in recognition of the ongoing work of building a world where every love is celebrated equally.

Travel Fee
Amberlight Ceremonies serves the greater Des Moines metro area. Travel beyond the area is available for an additional fee, confirmed at the time of booking.
Rehearsal Attendance
Add-on: $150
Optional rehearsal attendance so the day runs smoothly and everyone feels at ease before the moment arrives.
Planning Meeting
Add-on: $150
For couples who want more time beyond the two included meetings — an additional planning session to go deeper into the details that will make your ceremony feel completely yours.
